I have been a patient with Dr Prussick for many years. Cordial, friendly, helpful staff. Just had my full body check. Dr. Prussick takes his time and does a thorough check. Very professional, with a wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend this practice.

Had terrible, ichy rash. Was able to get an appointment fairly soon after calling due to a cancelation. Doctor prescribed a cream that worked first time used! Since I had the ichy rash for over a month I needed relief ASAP! I applied the cream as directed and after 1 day I had relief from the itch and the rash abated within the next couple days!! I'm echoing many of the previous reviews. The office is very efficient. I was scheduled in as a new patient the very next day for a medical dermatology appointment. There was essentially no wait-time at all in the office. The waiting room was not overcrowded. The staff are friendly and professional. Dr. Prussick is knowledgable and thorough. Overall I would highly recommend.

This was my first visit for my yearly full body checkup after having a stroke last November. Dr. Prussick and his assistant and staff are the best. he is extremely thorough and efficient with wonderful bedside manners and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Prussick!

Good overall experience. New patient appointment for something that was initially bothersome, but almost resolved itself by the time I was seen. Scheduled in April for a new patient appointment in July. I got some other issues addressed while I was there though. Would recommend for issues that don’t feel urgent/bothersome to you.

Board-certified dermatologist Dr. Prussick conducted a thorough skin exam on my first visit, caught and treated two pre-cancerous abnormalities, and offered sage advice in managing sun exposure. All in all, a very positive experience.

I have had minor psoriasis for 20 years. Suddenly, last fall, I had the worst case of psoriasis, and I mean red bumps and patches on 80% of my body!! I even had my friend take photos because I couldn't believe it. I went to my regular dr, and he referred me to a dermatologist. The derm dr took one look and said GO IMMEDIATELY TO DR. PRUSSICK!! They have a long wait list but they will see you on an emergency basis -- he was so kind, so understanding, and his assistant Danielle was too. They gave me medicine, told me what creams and soaps to use, gave me samples, helped me sign up for financial help to help pay for my medicine, and within 2 weeks, it was 50% gone!! Another shot of this medicine and I am free of all blotches and itchy patches and this was the worst case. I was afraid that this could not be fixed. They are experts at serious skin conditions and I am sold on my new miracle dr., Dr. Prussick!!

I've always been greeted warmly and have not had to wait more than a few minutes to be taken. All of the staff have been friendly and very efficient. Parking is usually right outside the door and the location is very well located at Guilford and New Design. I'm always pleased.

I went to the Frederick location and I am very impressed! Dr. Prussick evaluated my condition and prescribed a skin creme (Vtama) and light treatments that has almost completely cleared my psoriasis in 2 months. The doctor is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Prussick to anyone who is in need of a good dermatologist!

Dr. Prussic is a top drawer dermatologist. Smart and knowledgeable, combined with a wonderful bedside manner. He is usually hustling from one appointment to the next but will always stop and answer questions when I have them, and gives thoughtful helpful responses. The front desk folks and nurses in this specific office in Frederick have all been wonderful to work with. The only problems I have had were with the call center folks, they don't seem like they like their jobs very much.

Overall this is a good dermatology clinic. They have at least one phiysicians asst. Yan who is talented at identifying melanoma before it’s too late. He’s done it twice for me. To me saving you from an early death is pretty important. I was told he was a doctor in china but a PA here. He is good. They have other people here who can be rude to you and waste your time then ask you “just call.” That sounds good until you find that navigating their phone menus is another time waster. But I suggest patience with that because they can save your life.

I have been to Washington Dermatology (Frederick location) quite a few times this past year. Every visit I have had has been awesome. They are super courteous and welcoming. They have also been really understanding of my intense commute and teaching schedule this year and when it comes to scheduling appointments. I went to the Frederick office and it was a completely different experience than my 1st attempt of seeing a dermatologist (Different Dr's office) Would definitely and have already recommended Dr Henry!! Ive been super insecure about a cyst I've had on my back for over 10 years and a couple of years ago I got a new one by my neck that I believed needed to be biopsied. 1st Dr. didn't care about any of it pretty much, told me neither were nothing to worry about. Dr Henry removed the one I was worried about and said he was having it sent out to be checked without me even saying and removed the other one as well. All done in 15-20 min time. He was also very nice and professional.

I went into Washington Dermatology center to go and talk to Dr. Yan about a couple of moles on my forehead I wanted removed. He came in to talk to me, explained the process and actually removed the moles right then and there. I even had a cyst near my eye that he made a cut in and I can already tell that that’s getting better too. I am so pleased! I’m actually mad at myself for not going sooner 😂🤣😂🤣

When having any type of minor surgery everyone will be a little nervous. When I went into the room I was told exactly what was going to be done the whole way thru by the nurse and dr. Especially learning ahead of time how long my incision was going to be. My experience was nothing but comfortable. I would highly recommend anyone to see Washington dermatology in frederick.

I had a great visit. The doctor and nurse I had were very clear, quick and helpful, and the procedure to remove a mole was done in about 10 minutes total- mainly because of the time numbing took.They only got a 4 for a few reasons-1. For some reason despite scheduling an appointment SPECIFICALLY in Urbana, when we got to the office it was closed and we were told to go to a different one in Frederick. No idea why this scheduling hiccup was made, I know its Anne Arundel Dermatology's fault but when you have a no-show fee you dont get the luxury of making errors.2. The check in papers were roughly the same amount of writing as the new SAT writing section. Absolutely unnecessary stuff was on there too.3. Websites that had no hours and lacked the address of the office we ended up going to (maybe not their fault, but its a consideration that should be taken when you're in a conglomerate)Would highly recommend it though for the medical care.

I had an issue with a Cyst on the right side of my face which has been going on for years now. I called, scheduled and appointment and it was taken care off with a short procedure. My appointment was with Dr Prussick yesterday. I want to give a shout out to the office staff, all very friendly and helpful. Dr Prussick also listened to my concerns and addressed them quickly.I’m very disappointed that the practice is part of networks of medical practices purchased by private equity firms. These firms have a reputation for putting profits above patients, cutting corners while increasing patient costs. They know nothing about dermatology and patient care and could care less.

Dr. Maiburger and her assistant were knowledgeable, reassuring and professional. My only criticism of my experience was that the reception staff did not greet me. Instead the first thing said to me was, “Name?” Not hello, or how are you, today. It was very off putting. After my appointment I asked if I owed anything. Odd to me that this wasn’t taken care of at the start.

While Dr. Han did not have a definitive diagnosis for my problem, he did suggest a possibility I can take to an infectious disease specialist and it sounds like exactly my problem that other dermatologists hadn’t been able to identify. Danielle, his assistant, was particularly knowledgeable and helpful in the assessment of my issue and treatment advice. I really appreciated her proactive approach and involvement.

I was so happy to find a cosmetic dermatologist near my home. My first two visits were amazing. I was able to have things treated that had really been bothering me, namely small veins around my nose and some lines on my upper lip. Very pleased with the results and the pricing was reasonable.

Dr. Prussick took extra time to thoroughly explain his diagnosis and treatment plan and was conscientious about making sure I left with a clear understanding of the post procedure care and expectations. Front desk is always the first point of interaction. With my interaction with the front desk staff, I could feel that I reached the right facility. All from the front desk staff to the nursing staff and the doctor (Dr. Ronald Prussick) were ethically professional. I have long been a patient of Dr. Prussick. I have faith in him......however, I hate hi move to a bigger group. There is no way to contact his office. For appointments I was given 10 week waiting period, which I had to change at the last minute, and was basically told to get at the end of the line. Love the Doctors and the staff. My only criticism is that the office is a bit lax in requiring patients in the waiting area to wear masks. Also I think some of the staff at reception were unmasked. This is a worry for older patients and those of us with some what compromised immune systems or have people we live with who are compromised.

Dr P was professional and to the point in opining on my situation after hearing about and seeing my skin issues. I went to see Meryl to get the Perfect Derm Peel with the advanced booster, mainly for hyperpigmentation and acne. I had gotten the peel done somewhere before, but not with the booster and was nervous. I had never been to the practice or seen Meryl before but she was amazing! She is very nice and makes you feel at ease. She was very thorough and answered ALL of my questions and I ask a lot! She also provides you with her personal cell in case you have questions which is very comforting to have. She was very responsive when I reached out.When I come in for my next one, I will definitely go back to Meryl! .I am satisfied with my results and can't wait to come back and see her for another round!

So this is how I became a patient of Dr Prussick, I set WAZE to go to what I thought was greater Washington dermatology and ended up at Washington dermatology insisting I have an appointment. Yes the office looked different but remodeling happens. The street looked different too but we won't talk about that. The staff could not find me in their system and realized what I had done before I knew anything was wrong. They called Greater Washington dermatology, confirmed I had an appointment with them and handed me the phone. Needless to say I was embarrassed and ashamed. Seeing my embarrassment the maternal African American woman at the front desk ( never got her name) asked how she can help me, I told her all I need is a refill for a cream I use for a skin condition. She told me to sit down and brought me all the new patient forms, she catered to me the way you would cater to a sulking child. She made it so easy and took me in , still embarrassed to see the Dr. I expected him to write a prescription and be on his way, no one had ever given my condition more than a fleeting glance. Instead he sat down with me, explained my condition and gave me an article he published. I left the office full of gratitude for the love and care I received.

I wanted to write an honest review, so I waited until i saw real results to post a review. I met with Ms. Meryl and she was awesome! She had so much patience with me. I asked a billion questions because I was nervous, Ms. Meryl answered all of my questions accordingly and walked through the steps with me. I got a chemical peel done. She explained to me how to care for my skin. She has worked with all skin types. And I am grateful that I chose Washington Dermatology Center. I can't wait for my next appointment, I'm on a journey to better skin and I am on the right track.

Meryl has been the nurse that I have seen here over the past couple of years. She is extremely helpful! I have gone to her over the years about different insecurities regarding my face. Through treatments she has recommended, I have felt more confident and happy about the way my face looks! She takes the time to work you through what different treatments do and is also helpful post treatment in helping you know how to achieve the best results for your skin. If you’re looking for a new dermatologist, Dr. Prussick is your guy! I want to start off by saying that I had been fairly satisfied with my previous dermatologist prior to meeting with Dr. Prussick. But because of the COVID-19 outbreak I was unable to get in to see my current doctor. Well, thank goodness I got in to see Dr. Prussick.Because of his extensive knowledge and expertise, he was able to diagnose me with a very rare disease called Mastocytosis. Long story short, the disease causes all sorts of weird symptoms (such as fainting, weird allergic reactions, skin spots, etc... And at the time my doctors were not aware these symptoms were all related) but it is not easily diagnosed because it is extremely uncommon. I have been to the best cardiologist, neurologist, and internal medicine doctors in the field. I have also seen at least 4 dermatologist since the skin symptoms appeared (over 15 years ago) and not one of them was able to find a cause.I don’t fault my previous dermatologists for not diagnosing this because of how rare the disease is. But if you are looking for an office with polite and professional staff, a clean and modern office, and a top notch doctor, then I would highly recommend Washington Dermitology and Dr. Prussick. I cannot recommend this practice enough.

I had my first appointment here last week. What a pleasant experience! The office staff was great, and the check-in process was quick and simple. My appointment was with Alexa, who was just wonderful! She was so friendly and inviting, which made it easy to get to the root of my skin issue. I've been to several dermatologists in the DMV area, but have never felt quite right about any of them until now. I will definitely be back and booking with Alexa from now on!

I have been using Dr Prussick's practice for over 18 years. I am always greeted with a smile at the front desk whether it's Meryl in between clients or Sherri. I have used Dr Prussick for my kids acne and for any skin issues I have ever had. Last year he diagnosed my melanoma. It was a very scary phone call to get and he was incredible in his delivery and reassurance about what I needed to do and he was there for me with any questions I had. I have gone back every 3 months for almost a year and he is so thorough and calm during my exams. In addition, as a woman, who wants to age gracefully and not look "done" up, Dr Prussick is an artist and perfectionist with Botox and filler. I have recommended friends and they are all equally pleased. Those that I know use his expertise, look amazing and again not "done" up. It's a wonderful practice with a Dr who is always increasing his knowledge and expertise of derm care! Thank you.

It’s rare to find a physician at the top of his/her game, with an excellent bedside manner and stellar staff. Dr. Prussick excels at all theee, which is why five stars do not seem to be enough. He’s been my dermatologist for over a decade now, has treated precancerous lesions and the general skin woes that accompany women as they age. His office staff and nurses are just as professional and qualities, which is why I’ve never hesitated to recommend him to friends and family. I was thrilled to find Dr. Prussick. I have struggled with acne on and off since my teenage years. I have seen a number of dermatologists over the years and have taken oral pills, topical treatment, over the counter products, etc. Pretty much everything short of the super heavy duty acne treatment (like Acutane) which I wanted to avoid due to the potential for liver damage. Within a couple of visits with Dr. Prussick, I was able to find a great routine (including a good enzyme foaming face wash, topical treatment and a vitamin) that didn’t cause severe irritation, peeling, or redness. And the best part – I have CLEAR skin for the first time since I was 13.

Did my annual skin check with Allison Skae, MHS, PA-C, at the Frederick location today. Allison is incredible. I highly recommend her. She has all of the qualities I prize — and don’t always find — in healthcare providers. I am always comfortable and at ease with Allison because I know she is very gentle and explains everything clearly. And she is always cheerful, welcoming, and engaged with her patients. And, of course, her skills and knowledge are incredible. I often dread the annual check-ups I need to do. Not with Allison!
